Opera, Ballet and Symphonic Music stage

9 September

10 am–11 am Joint performance by soloists of the Helikon-Opera Theatre under Dmitry Bertman and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. They will perform classical works by Bizet, Grieg, Brahms, Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Rimsky-Korsakov and Khachaturian.

11.10 am–12.50 pm, 1.10 pm–2.10 pm Joint performance by the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow and the Russian Philharmonic Moscow City Symphony Orchestra. They will perform classical works by Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Sviridov, Khachaturian, Prokofiev and Shostakovich, and everyone’s favourite songs about Moscow as well.

2.30 pm–3 pm Performance by soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre. On the programme: scenes from the ballets Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Don Quixote.

3.10 pm–4.10 pm Opera Gala: Performance by soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre. On the programme: scenes from the operas Boris Godunov, Snegurochka (Snow Maiden), Queen of Spades and Iolanta.

4.15 pm–5.15 pm Joint performance by the soloists of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. On the programme: arias from operas by Tchaikovsky.

5.15 pm–6.05 pm Performance by the Astera Acapella Band and four piano players.

6.05 pm–7.35 pm Opera-Prima: Opera show featuring performances of seven soloists. On the programme: arias from operas by famous Russian and European composers.

7.35 pm–8 pm Performance by the Astera Acapella Band. On the programme: everyone’s favourite songs about Moscow.

8 pm–10 pm Performance by the legendary Persimfance orchestra. On the programme: the cantata Put Oktyabrya (The Path of October).

10 September

10 am–11.20 am Opera-Prima: Opera show featuring performances of seven soloists. On the programme: arias from operas by famous Russian and European composers.

11.30 am–12.30 pm Joint performance by the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow and the Russian Philharmonic Moscow City Symphony Orchestra. They will perform everyone’s favourite songs about Moscow, and classical works as well.

12.40 pm–2 pm Joint performance by soloists of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. On the programme: arias from operas by Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov, and other classical musical works as well.

Noon–12.45 pm Oh Happy Moscow musical and poetry programme by the Oleg Tabakov Theatre

1 pm–13.45 pm Lenkom Theatre programme: a ballad from the rock opera Juno and Avos, a scene from the play The Little Prince, and a concert programme

2 pm–2.30 pm Vakhtangov Theatre programme: Scenes from the theatre’s plays.

2.45 pm–3.30 pm The play Mne Nravitsya (I Like That) by the Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theatre

9.20 pm–10 pm A performance based on the works of Russian poets from 1960 to date by the Moscow Et Cetera Theatre under Alexander Kalyagin.
